Boston does Boston

Proof Gallery is pleased to present Boston Does Boston – an exhibition of 8 works by 8 Boston artists in various media.
As a newcomer to the Boston arts community Proof was looking for exposure to Boston talent. We asked four local artists to introduce us to the work of four other local artists and Boston Does Boston was born. Hannah Cole chose a painting by David Ording; Kevin Driscoll selected a work by Nik Gulascik; Andrea Raynor chose a work on paper by Mary Hughes; and Matthew Rich selected a sculpture by Ellen Rich. Then the “deciders” were asked to submit a work of their own. We are inspired by the exciting breadth of styles and the range of artistic concerns currently afoot in Boston.
